This is a rare description of North America at the time of the Revolutionary war. It has a particularly interesting Preface which describes the "Present unhappy differences between Great Britain and her Colonies". The 8vo book gives a short history of North America before a fascinating alphabetic list of descriptions of important places including New York, Boston and Philadelphia.
